What is Elast1?
Elast1 is the fabric used to make Elast1 suits and all M1 underwear clothes.

FABRIC

It is a high performance fabric, by its inherent flame resistant fibers content with low heat transfer. It offers greater protection, maintaining its structure without shrink, or puncturing, or melt, resisting temperatures up to 260 °C.


To achieve the levels required by the FIA, Elast1 protects more than 12 seconds heat transfer before reaching a 2nd degree burn.

BREATHEABILITY AND COMFORT

The 44% of natural fibers comprising the Elast1 fabric intensify moisture dissipation decreasing body heat. It provides an unusual comfort and convenience in the racing world, thanks to the air passage 115 cm3/sec., that the fabric admits.

ELASTICITY

The use of exclusive fibers provides an increase of 18 % in length to Elast1, enhancing comfort and mobility pilot.

ANTIBACTERIAL

The Elast1 fabric used for underwear, undergoes a silver-based antibacterial treatment which confers protection against the proliferation of bacteria by inhibiting the growth of them and giving the fabric a bacteriostatic and deodorizing effect.
